Cox & Rawle use their pro-rig boom system here to help you against tangles - a good boom setup whose position can be adjusted along the line as you wish. Tie 5 - 6 inches of hook length line to each of the booms with your hooks then tied to the ends. The size 2 hooks supplied by Cox & Rawle are a good size for flatfish but for Whiting you will need to change these for the size 1/O hooks.
